Job summary

PERI GmbH Formwork Scaffolding Engineering in Doha seeks a diligent procurement and logistics administrator to support yard operations. You will source quotations, prepare comparison sheets, create POs, and verify shipping documents to ensure smooth project flow.

The role requires 1–3 years in procurement or logistics, strong Excel skills, and English proficiency. You will manage pricing lists, timesheets, and records, collaborating with suppliers and the Yard Manager while maintaining accuracy

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, operations administration, or yard management.
• Experience in construction, formwork, scaffolding, or related industrial sectors is desirable.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, supplier management, purchase orders, and shipping documentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management, comparison sheets, and basic formulas.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to handle multiple recurring tasks while meeting deadlines.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
• Trustworthy and professional handling confidential commercial, pricing, and supplier information.

Responsibilities

• Source and obtain quotations from suppliers for yard materials, services, and equipment.
• Prepare supplier comparison sheets evaluating pricing, lead times, and terms to support decisions.
• Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) following policies and approval workflows.
• Review supplier shipping documents for PO/contract compliance before shipment release.
