Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Vehicle Functional Manager to act as the primary liaison between Amentum Services and the customer, coordinating on the Vehicles functional area and maintaining the accountability and maintenance status of all program vehicle assets.

You will ensure compliance with the PWS and ISO 9001 QMS, advise on staffing levels and program reconstitution goals, and support senior management with program metrics and required reporting.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of military vehicle repair procedures and regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Windows OS.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain host nation license.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ten years’ experience in vehicle management (preferably Air Force).
• Four years’ supervisory experience.
• Ability to obtain facility credentials/authorization; US Citizenship required for location.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between USAFCENT and Amentum on GPMS vehicle issues.
• Review, submit and track PWS deliverables to the customer.
• Coordinate inputs to PMO for planning, programming, solutions and execution of the contract.
• Ensure all activities comply with PWS and Amentum standards to meet requirements.
• Develop, revise Vehicle SOPs, Work Instructions and Training Plans per ISO 9001.
• Provide inputs for PSR/PMR briefings to Senior Management.
• Communicate directives, changes, and tasks to site personnel.
• Monitor deployment activities and exercises in accordance with the PWS.
