Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking an Insurance Specialist to support and manage corporate and project-related insurance activities across multiple business units. The role covers insurance procurement, claims management, policy administration, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with company standards and industry best practices.

The successful candidate will coordinate with insurers, brokers, and project teams, review contracts for insurance obligations, and support lender-driven projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of insurance experience in a specialized function.
• GCC experience preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as CII, CILA, III or equivalent insurance certifications desirable.
• Strong knowledge of insurance procurement, claims management, underwriting processes, and local insurance markets.

Responsibilities

• Support daily insurance operations across all business units in line with policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and recommend appropriate coverage for company assets, projects, and operations.
• Manage annual insurance renewals, policy amendments, additions, deletions, and policy administration.
• Coordinate insurance claims reporting and facilitate settlements with insurers, brokers, and loss adjusters.
• Prepare and maintain loss records, loss-ratio reports, and insurance performance analysis.
• Monitor underwriting requirements and ensure compliance with insurance regulations and standards.
• Review contracts, tender documents, and project agreements to assess insurance obligations and compliance.
