Job summary

Vodafone Doha seeks a strategic Lead to own the end-to-end development of customer-focused digital insurance propositions. You will prioritize products, design offers, define requirements, map customer journeys and ensure launch readiness across cross-functional teams.

The role requires strong relationship management with insurers and tech providers, along with overseeing regulatory compliance and performance reporting. A senior business owner mindset is essential for day-to-day governance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, Law or another relevant discipline.
  • Certificate-level or above insurance qualification (e.g., Cert CII, Insurance Institute Licentiate)

Responsibilities

  • Lead assessment, development and delivery of customer-focused digital insurance propositions.
  • Own product prioritization, proposition design, business requirements, customer journeys and launch-readiness recommendations.
  • Identify, evaluate and manage relationships with insurers, technology providers and other partners.
  • Lead commercial negotiations covering product terms, commissions, service levels and partner responsibilities within authority limits.
  • Own business performance across customer acquisition, conversion, revenue, retention, service quality and partner delivery.
  • Establish operating processes covering sales, policy servicing, complaints, renewals, cancellations and claims coordination.
  • Ensure activities comply with applicable insurance regulations, internal policies and customer-protection requirements.
  • Maintain accountability between distribution activities and insurer-retained responsibilities, including underwriting, pricing, reserving and claims liability.
  • Coordinate delivery across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Finance, Operations, Marketing and Customer Care.
  • Identify and escalate regulatory, operational, commercial and customer risks, with authority to pause activities where material control gaps exist.
  • Prepare management reporting, business cases and decision papers, and recommend corrective actions when performance or delivery falls below expectations.
  • Act as the principal business owner for day-to-day decisions within the approved strategy, budget, delegated authority and governance framework.

Education
