Job summary

Gray Mackenzie Engineering Services is seeking an experienced Stores & Warehouse Supervisor in Doha to oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and IPS material management for oil & gas projects. You will supervise receipt, storage, and dispatch, ensure accurate tagging and stock levels, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Stores/Warehouse Supervision within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience handling IPS (Insulation, Painting & Scaffolding) materials for industrial shutdown, maintenance, EPC, or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Material Control Procedures and Inventory Management Systems.
• Experience with Warehouse Operations and Logistics Coordination.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehouse and store activities including receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
• Manage IPS materials, including consumables, equipment, tools, and accessories, and ensure proper storage and preservation.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Project, Construction, QA/QC, and Logistics for material planning and movement.
• Prepare and maintain material receiving reports, issue vouchers, stock reports, and inventory records.
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments and maintain accurate documentation.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Stores & Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, inventory control, and material management activities for our Oil & Gas projects. The successful candidate must possess extensive experience in handling and controlling IPS (Insulation, Painting & Scaffolding) materials, ensuring timely availability of project materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Supervise all warehouse and store activities including receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
• Ensure proper material identification, tagging, binning, and storage in accordance with company and project requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain optimum inventory to support ongoing project activities.
• Conduct periodic stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and annual physical inventory audits.
• Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective actions.

IPS Material Control

• Manage and control all Insulation, Painting, and Scaffolding (IPS) materials, including consumables, equipment, tools, and accessories.
• Ensure proper storage and preservation of insulation materials, coatings, paints, scaffolding components, fittings, and related items.
• Monitor material consumption against project budgets and approved material take-offs.
• Coordinate with project teams to forecast material requirements and avoid shortages or excess stock.

Logistics & Coordination

• Coordinate with Procurement, Project, Construction, QA/QC, and Logistics departments for material planning and movement.
• Ensure timely receipt and issuance of project materials to support construction schedules.
• Prepare and maintain material receiving reports (MRR), issue vouchers, stock reports, and inventory records.
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments and maintain accurate documentation.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 6 years of experience in Stores/Warehouse Supervision within the Oil & Gas industry.

Proven experience handling IPS (Insulation, Painting & Scaffolding) materials for industrial shutdown, maintenance, EPC, or construction projects.

Strong knowledge of:

• Material Control Procedures
• Inventory Management Systems

• Logistics Coordination

Proficient in ERP systems such as:

• SAP
• Microsoft Office
• Other Inventory Management Software

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

• GCC Oil & Gas project experience will be a distinct advantage.
