Confidential Company is seeking a Supervisor for Static Equipment to lead maintenance, inspection and repair activities on critical process equipment, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers and tanks. The role requires coordinating with mechanical, QA/QC, inspection, scaffolding and HSE teams to ensure safe, on-time shutdowns.
Ideal candidates have substantial Oil & Gas experience, strong leadership skills and a track record in overseeing large work fronts, PTW compliance and safe execution
Supervise and coordinate maintenance, inspection, installation, dismantling, and repair activities related to static equipment.
Handle equipment such as pressure vessels, columns, reactors, heat exchangers, tanks, drums, boilers, and related piping systems.
Plan daily work activities and allocate manpower according to project requirements.
Supervise opening, cleaning, inspection, maintenance, reassembly, and box-up of static equipment.
Coordinate with Mechanical, QA/QC, Inspection, Scaffolding, Rigging, HSE, and Operations teams.
Ensure all work is carried out according to approved method statements, drawings, procedures, and client specifications.
Monitor manpower, tools, equipment, and materials required for daily activities.
Ensure proper execution of bolting, gasket replacement, flange management, valve-related activities, and equipment maintenance.
Supervise rigging and lifting activities related to static equipment in coordination with the lifting team.
Ensure compliance with PTW (Permit to Work), LOTO, confined-space, gas testing, and other safety requirements.
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers follow all applicable HSE procedures.
Monitor work progress and prepare daily progress reports.
Coordinate with the client/contractor representatives regarding work fronts, priorities, and technical issues.
Identify site problems and coordinate with engineers and relevant departments for timely resolution.
Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the worksite.
Maintain quality standards and ensure work is completed within the planned schedule.

Strong experience in static equipment maintenance and shutdown activities.
Ability to supervise a large workforce and multiple work fronts.
Good knowledge of PTW and industrial safety procedures.
Ability to read and understand equipment drawings, P&IDs, and maintenance procedures.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet shutdown/project deadlines.
Gulf/Oil & Gas experience preferred.
Relevant technical qualification or trade certification preferred.
Strictly follow company and client HSE policies.
Ensure workers use appropriate PPE.
Verify work permits and required safety controls before starting work.
Ensure compliance with confined-space, working-at-height, lifting, and isolation procedures.
Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses.
Experience: 5-10+ years in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical / Shutdown projects, with relevant supervisory experience in static equipment.
