Job summary

Confidential Company in Doha seeks an experienced Operations/Plant Manager to lead shift teams, supervise plant operations, and drive safety and reliability in a high‑hazard environment.

You will coordinate maintenance, mentor staff, ensure quality standards, and report daily outcomes to leadership while collaborating with SMEs and cross‑functional teams. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering is required or preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in Oil & Gas; petrochemical facility experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English; Arabic is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead supervise and develop shift personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Coach and mentor employees; identify training needs and support competency development.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, SOPs, JSAs, MOC and Quality Management Systems.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily shift reports; coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Lead supervise and develop shift personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations Coach and mentor employees identify training needs and support competency development Manage shift schedules manpower allocation and performance management Ensure compliance with company policies SOPs and mandatory training requirements

Operations Management

Supervise plant operations to achieve production targets while maintaining quality standards Lead shift handovers and conduct daily toolbox meetings Resolve operational issues and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts SMEs as required Ensure equipment readiness preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance activities Coordinate maintenance activities and review safety permits before equipment release

Health Safety Environment Quality

Ensure compliance with HSE regulations SOPs JSAs MOC processes and Quality Management Systems Lead safety initiatives audits inspections and high-risk work permit activities Conduct incident investigations identify root causes and implement corrective actions Drive continuous improvement in process safety and operational excellence

Reporting Coordination

Prepare and submit accurate daily shift reports Communicate operational updates to leadership and coordinate with cross-functional teams Collaborate with Maintenance Technical HSE Production Planning Training teams contractors and service providers

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering (Engineering preferred).5–7 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.Experience in a Petrochemical Production Facility is preferred.Working knowledge of SAP, Process Interface (PI), and Microsoft Office.Strong knowledge of plant operations with excellent leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in English; working knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
