Job summary

InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa is seeking a dedicated Steward to support kitchens and Food & Beverage operations by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation in back-of-house areas.

You will collaborate with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to ensure kitchen equipment, utensils, and service items are cleaned, sanitised, and readily available for daily operations, while adhering to HACCP and hotel standards in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Stewarding, Kitchen Operations, Housekeeping or similar hospitality environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for a multicultural team.
• Willingness to learn and follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, cutlery, and other operating equipment.
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchens, dishwashing areas, stores, and back-of-house areas.
• Support Culinary and Food & Beverage teams with timely delivery and collection of clean equipment and utensils.
• Follow all HACCP, hygiene, health, safety, and hotel standards.
