Job summary

Talabat Qatar seeks a senior operations leader to own the supply ecosystem across the country, building a sustainable, high‑performing rider network, and managing end‑to‑end 3PL partnerships to meet demand and service levels.

You will set clear KPIs, lead an on‑ground operations team, coach managers across supply, 3PLs and logistics, and collaborate with People, Finance, Commercial, and Product to drive automation, visibility and rider satisfaction countrywide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in operational roles within fast-paced environments; FoodTech logistics a plus.
• Experience managing direct reports and fostering a strong team culture.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage complexity and drive decisions.
• Advanced proficiency in GSheet and strong analytical capabilities.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Talabat Qatar’s overall supply ecosystem and rider base.
• Develop and execute the supply growth and acquisition strategy.
• Lead long-term supply forecasting and planning for coverage and SLAs.
• Identify and launch new supply channels to diversify and sustain growth.
• Manage the lifecycle of 3PL partnerships from onboarding to renewals.
• Set clear KPIs and SLAs for 3PL partners and monitor performance.
• Build strong relationships with 3PL partners to drive alignment and excellence.
• Lead on-ground operations teams to ensure compliance and service quality.
• Monitor key operational KPIs (rider supply rate, EPH, on-time orders, churn).
• Drive process improvements and automation for visibility and scalability.
• Coach and develop managers across supply, 3PLs, and operations.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, Commercial, and Product to align strategies.
• Oversee equipment management (uniforms, delivery boxes, e-bikes).
• Travel to talabat markets as needed.

Job Description

• Lead Talabat Qatar’s overall supply ecosystem, ensuring a sustainable, high-quality, and high-performing rider base across the country.
• Develop and execute the overall supply growth and acquisition strategy aligned with business demand and market dynamics.
• Lead long-term supply forecasting and planning to ensure full coverage and service level adherence.
• Identify and launch new supply channels such as female riders, refugees, micro-financing, and e-bikes to diversify and sustain fleet growth.
• Manage the full lifecycle of 3PL partnerships, from selection and onboarding to performance management and contract renewals.
• Set clear KPIs and SLAs for 3PL partners, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and rider quality.
• Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key 3PL partners to drive alignment and operational excellence.
• Lead and manage the on-ground operations team to ensure smooth daily operations, compliance, and service quality.
• Monitor and improve key operational KPIs including rider supply rate, EPH, order-on-time percentage, and churn rate.
• Implement standardized processes and digital tools to enhance control, visibility, and scalability across operations.
• Coach and develop a high-performing team of managers, seniors, and specialists across supply, 3PLs, and operations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as People, Finance, Commercial, and Product to align on strategies and deliverables.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency and rider satisfaction.
• Drive automation and technology-enabled initiatives to improve visibility and performance management.
• Oversee equipment management including uniforms, delivery boxes, and e-bikes to ensure consistent quality and operational standards.
• Ensure adherence to performance KPIs such as supply run rate, rider churn and retention, 3PL compliance, rider NPS, EPH, and operational coverage.
• Build long-term plans to sustain growth and strengthen Talabat’s market leadership position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference for majors in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent work experience in compliance or auditing
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational roles within fast-paced environments. Track record in the FoodTech logistics sector is a plus. Management consulting experience is also considered a significant advantage
• Management experience is advantageous, with the ability to effectively manage direct reports and foster a strong team culture.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to dig into detail, manage complexity, and drive decision-making
• Advanced proficiency in GSheet, demonstrating a strong analytical skill set. Ability to reason analytically, logically, and in a consistent fashion
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging across a diverse set of stakeholders, Arabic is good to have but not necessary
• Extremely organized and process-driven, with a proven ability to manage a heavy workload effectively by setting priorities and managing expectations well
• Able to travel to all talabat markets as needed.
