Job summary

Talabat Qatar is seeking a senior leader to own and optimize its supply ecosystem, ensuring a high-performing rider base nationwide and strong 3PL partnerships. You will develop growth strategies, forecast demand, and drive efficiency across operations with cross-functional collaboration.

You will manage on-ground teams, set KPIs, and push automation to scale performance while maintaining service quality and rider satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in operational roles in fast-paced environments, FoodTech is a plus.
• Experience in management is advantageous with direct reports.
• Strong problem solving, ability to handle complexity and decisions.
• Excellent English; Arabic is a plus but not required.
• Excellent organizational skills and process-driven approach.

WHAT’S ON YOUR PLATE?

• Lead Talabat Qatar’s overall supply ecosystem, ensuring a sustainable, high-quality, and high-performing rider base across the country.
• Develop and execute the overall supply growth and acquisition strategy aligned with business demand and market dynamics.
• Lead long-term supply forecasting and planning to ensure full coverage and service level adherence.
• Identify and launch new supply channels such as female riders, refugees, micro-financing, and e-bikes to diversify and sustain fleet growth.
• Manage the full lifecycle of 3PL partnerships, from selection and onboarding to performance management and contract renewals.
• Set clear KPIs and SLAs for 3PL partners, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and rider quality.
• Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key 3PL partners to drive alignment and operational excellence.
• Lead and manage the on-ground operations team to ensure smooth daily operations, compliance, and service quality.
• Monitor and improve key operational KPIs including rider supply rate, EPH, order-on-time percentage, and churn rate.
• Implement standardized processes and digital tools to enhance control, visibility, and scalability across operations.
• Coach and develop a high-performing team of managers, seniors, and specialists across supply, 3PLs, and operations.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams such as People, Finance, Commercial, and Product to align on strategies and deliverables.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency and rider satisfaction.
• Drive automation and technology-enabled initiatives to improve visibility and performance management.
• Oversee equipment management including uniforms, delivery boxes, and e-bikes to ensure consistent quality and operational standards.
• Ensure adherence to performance KPIs such as supply run rate, rider churn and retention, 3PL compliance, rider NPS, EPH, and operational coverage.
• Build long-term plans to sustain growth and strengthen Talabat’s market leadership position.

Qualifications

WHAT DID WE ORDER?

• Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference for majors in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent work experience in compliance or auditing
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational roles within fast-paced environments. Track record in the FoodTech logistics sector is a plus. Management consulting experience is also considered a significant advantage
• Management experience is advantageous, with the ability to effectively manage direct reports and foster a strong team culture.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to dig into detail, manage complexity, and drive decision-making
• Advanced proficiency in GSheet, demonstrating a strong analytical skill set. Ability to reason analytically, logically, and in a consistent fashion
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging across a diverse set of stakeholders, Arabic is good to have but not necessary
• Extremely organized and process-driven, with a proven ability to manage a heavy workload effectively by setting priorities and managing expectations well
• Able to travel to all talabat markets as needed.
