Job summary

Talabat Qatar is seeking a senior operations leader to oversee the end-to-end supply ecosystem and rider base across the country. You will drive growth, forecast demand, and manage 3PL partnerships to maintain service levels.

You will build a high-performing team, implement standardized processes, and collaborate with cross-functional peers to align on strategic initiatives that strengthen Talabat’s market leadership in Qatar.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in operational roles in fast-paced environments; FoodTech logistics experience is a plus.
• Management experience is advantageous with ability to lead direct reports.
• Strong problem-solving ability with detail orientation.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets for analytics.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication; Arabic is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to Talabat markets as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead Talabat Qatar’s overall supply ecosystem, ensuring a sustainable, high-quality rider base.
• Develop and execute the overall supply growth and acquisition strategy aligned with demand and market dynamics.
• Lead long-term supply forecasting and planning to ensure coverage and service level adherence.
• Identify and launch new supply channels to diversify and sustain fleet growth.
• Manage the full lifecycle of 3PL partnerships from onboarding to renewals.
• Set KPIs and SLAs for 3PL partners to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Build strong strategic relationships with key 3PL partners for alignment and excellence.
• Lead the on-ground operations team to ensure smooth daily operations and service quality.
• Monitor KPIs such as rider supply rate, EPH, on-time orders, and churn.
• Implement standardized processes and digital tools to enhance control and scalability.
• Coach and develop a high-performing team across supply, 3PLs, and operations.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, Commercial, and Product to align strategies.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and rider satisfaction.
• Drive automation and tech-enabled initiatives for visibility and performance management.

What you need to be successful

WHAT DID WE ORDER?

• Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference for majors in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent work experience in compliance or auditing
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational roles within fast-paced environments. Track record in the FoodTech logistics sector is a plus. Management consulting experience is also considered a significant advantage
• Management experience is advantageous, with the ability to effectively manage direct reports and foster a strong team culture.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to dig into detail, manage complexity, and drive decision-making
• Advanced proficiency in GSheet, demonstrating a strong analytical skill set. Ability to reason analytically, logically, and in a consistent fashion
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging across a diverse set of stakeholders, Arabic is good to have but not necessary
• Extremely organized and process-driven, with a proven ability to manage a heavy workload effectively by setting priorities and managing expectations well
• Able to travel to all talabat markets as needed.
