Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead the automotive workshop and oversee daily repair and maintenance activities. You will manage technician productivity, optimize capacity, and ensure service jobs are completed to required quality standards, reporting to the Service Manager.

The role focuses on FRFT, workshop safety, and customer satisfaction in a busy dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, Diploma or ITI qualification in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering.
• 5-7 years of overall experience in automotive dealerships.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Workshop Supervisor or equivalent.
• Proven experience managing workshop technicians and service operations.
• Strong understanding of automotive dealership and distributor business processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workshop operations including vehicle repair and maintenance.
• Plan workshop capacity and allocate repair jobs according to resources.
• Maximize workshop utilization while maintaining service quality.
• Monitor workshop loading and adjust job allocation for efficiency.
• Control WIP and carry-over jobs to improve throughput.
• Coordinate repair schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure activities follow dealership procedures.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
