Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a seasoned HSE/Safety Manager for Qatar to plan, manage and monitor Safety, Health, Environment and Security across Subsea Pipeline Repair projects. You will provide expert guidance to ensure a safe workplace and full compliance with project plans and LNG HSE requirements.

The role requires extensive experience in oil & gas safety operations, including offshore/subsea work, and a strong background in risk assessment, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Safety, Marine Engineering/Science or related subject with Industrial safety certification (NEBOSH).
• 10 years varied experience in safety operations within oil and gas including offshore/subsea pipeline installation/diving operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, coordinate and monitor HSE issues for Subsea Pipeline Repair Projects.
• Provide expert guidance to ensure safe working place and compliance with LNG HSE requirements.
• Review safety plans, risk assessments, and HSE studies; support design and HSE reviews.
• Lead incident investigations, report findings and drive corrective actions.
• Champion a proactive safety culture and daily on-site safety leadership.
• Monitor contractor activities and ensure contractor HSE procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with operations teams to align safety with project execution and schedules.
