Job summary

Brunel is seeking an experienced HSE lead for an offshore LNG project in Qatar. You will act as the client vessel/site HSE representative, ensuring Contractor compliance with LNG project management systems and international standards.

The role focuses on protecting personnel and preventing incidents across design, construction and installation activities. You will develop safety plans, participate in risk assessments (DRA, HAZIDs, HIRA), lead toolbox talks and drive a proactive safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/NVQ6 in Health & Safety with NEBOSH, ISO auditing knowledge.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or NEBOSH Level 3 mandatory.
• ISO 9001/14001/45001 auditing experience mandatory.
• Offshore safety experience incl. Dive Support Vessels or subsea tasks.
• Knowledge of IOGP/IMCA/SOLAS and offshore high-risk activity mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Act as client vessel/site-based HSE representative ensuring compliance with LNG project management systems.
• Prepare safety plans and work schedules to support project completion.
• Implement LNG HSE requirements across project execution.
• Review safety studies and support development of Project HSE Plans.
• Lead HSE reviews and ensure risk and reliability issues are closed.
• Promote proactive safety culture onshore and offshore activities.
• Oversee regulatory compliance and performance with Contractor teams.
• Lead HSE toolbox meetings and safety training with contractors.
