Job summary

QatarEnergy LNG seeks an experienced Subsea Engineer to lead underwater inspection programs for its offshore assets. You will plan, oversee jackets, pipelines, and cables, coordinating with internal teams and external contractors to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

The role requires hands-on field work, participation in marine surveys, and on-site QA/QC, prioritizing activities based on sea state and asset risk, while maintaining comprehensive records.

Qualifications

• 8 years’ experience with Subsea Construction, Inspection, and diving operations.
• Strong understanding of Process Safety concepts.
• Experience with pipeline networks and offshore structures.
• Knowledge of pipeline design codes and crossing methods.
• Experience in marine surveys and ROV/vessel operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute underwater inspection activities for subsea assets.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align surveys with operations.
• Maintain records: logs, issues register, and interface tracking.
• Provide on-site QA/QC of survey data and prioritize activities by sea state.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and industry best practices.
