Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks an experienced HSE Manager in Doha, Qatar to establish and lead the HSE function across O&M sites and projects. The role ensures ISO 45001/14001 compliance, manages health and environmental risks and drives a Zero Incident culture.

The successful candidate will develop HSE policies, oversee contractor compliance, and coordinate with management, operations, and regulatory authorities for continual HSE improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or OH&S required.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent preferred; ISO 45001/14001 auditing advantageous.
• Minimum 20 years total experience, with at least 10 in HSE leadership.
• Experience in water/wastewater, utilities, infrastructure, industrial, construction or O&M tasks.

Responsibilities

• HSE Leadership & Management System: develop, implement and improve policies, plans, KPIs and programs.
• Lead HSE Management System across O&M sites, maintain controlled documentation, drive corrective actions.
• Provide strategic HSE advice to senior management and promote a Zero Incident Culture.
• Risk management and site safety: conduct risk assessments, JSAs, method statements and environmental risk reviews.
• Coordinate incident and emergency management, investigations and lessons learned.
• Oversee environmental & occupational health: waste, emissions, permits, monitoring and response.
• Contractor training & compliance: manage qualifications, audits, inspections and performance.
• Stakeholder coordination with Operations, Projects, HR, QA/QC, clients and authorities.
