Power International Holding (PIH) is seeking a Senior Storekeeper to oversee warehouse operations, manage storekeeping staff, and ensure efficient inventory control. You will coordinate with procurement to replenish stock, maintain organized storage, and enforce safety protocols.

The role emphasizes accuracy in records, teamwork with suppliers, and continuous process improvements to optimize warehouse performance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in inventory control techniques including stock tracking and cycle counting.
• Strong leadership to manage storekeeping staff and ensure efficient operations.
• Knowledge of warehouse layout optimization and storage methods to maximize space.
• Keen attention to detail for accurate records of stock movements.
• Excellent communication with suppliers, vendors and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of goods and materials with accurate record-keeping.
• Lead and manage storekeeping staff; assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Coordinate with procurement to replenish stock based on forecasts and consumption.
• Maintain organized storage spaces and inventory tracking systems for easy access.
• Inspect incoming goods for quality and integrity and reject defective items.
• Enforce safety and security protocols within the store/warehouse.
• Maintain records of inventory transactions and stock movements; prepare management reports.
• Liaise with suppliers on deliveries, returns, and discrepancies to ensure continuity of supply.
• Ensure storekeeping equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks are maintained for safe operation.
• Identify process improvements to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Support HSE initiatives and participate in safety activities aligned with IMS policies.
