Qualifications

Responsibilities

Senior Sales Engineer – Structural Steel & PEB

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to drive business growth and develop strategic client relationships within the Structural Steel Fabrication and Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, securing projects, managing key accounts, and supporting the achievement of sales targets across Qatar and the GCC market.

The role requires strong technical and commercial expertise in structural steel, excellent relationship management skills, and a proven track record of securing industrial, commercial, and Oil & Gas projects. Previous experience working with a Class A steel fabricator is mandatory, along with a strong understanding of structural steel fabrication, manufacturing, and erection processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in structural steel fabrication and PEB projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, developers, and project owners.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals in coordination with engineering and estimation teams.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations.

• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and CRM records.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth project handover and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree is an advantage.
• Arabic speaker with excellent command of English.
• Strong technical understanding of structural steel fabrication and PEB solutions.
• SAP or other ERP system knowledge is preferred.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in technical sales or senior sales within the structural steel fabrication industry. Prior experience with a Class A steel fabricator is mandatory, along with a strong understanding of steel fabrication, manufacturing, and erection processes.
• Strong understanding of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and structural steel fabrication, manufacturing, and erection processes.
• Proven experience working with steel fabrication companies in the GCC.
• Demonstrated success in securing structural steel projects with Oil & Gas, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure clients.
• Strong experience dealing with EPC contractors, consultants, and developers.
• Existing network within the Qatar and GCC construction market is highly preferred.
