WSP USA in Doha, Qatar seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 10 years’ experience to lead cost control, prepare budgets, BoQs, and tender documents for infrastructure projects. You will perform quantity take-offs, monitor variations, and support in claims and dispute resolution.

The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, proficiency with CostX/CANDY and MS Excel, and familiarity with FIDIC contracts. Prior Ashghal exposure is highly preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably on infrastructure or highway projects.
• Sound knowledge of FIDIC contracts and cost control procedures.
• MRICS membership is an advantage; MMUP registration preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and update cost estimates, budget forecasts, and cost plans across all project phases.
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of Bills of Quantities (BoQs), pricing schedules, and tender documentation.
• Support contract administration activities in line with FIDIC and Ashghal contract formats.
• Perform quantity take-offs and verify contractor measurements and valuations.
• Prepare interim payment applications and support in certifying contractor payments.
• Track and manage project variations, changes, and claims.
• Provide support in claims assessment and dispute resolution processes.
• Maintain cost control systems and prepare regular commercial reports.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams on all commercial matters.
• Ensure proper documentation, cost records, and contract correspondence are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
