Nakilat in Doha seeks a Senior Marine Engineer to lead the technical management of LNG/LPG vessels under NSQL, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operations. You will oversee third-party managers, support fleet projects, and ensure compliance with all regulations, class requirements, and industry standards.

With 8–12 years of relevant experience, you will manage budgets, conduct risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement across vessel maintenance, safety, and performance.

Qualifications

• Marine Engineering degree (Class 1) or equivalent.
• Sailed as chief engineer on LNG/LPG carriers is desirable.
• Strong project management and budgeting skills.
• Proven ability to oversee large repairs/maintenance.
• Knowledge of international marine regulations and class requirements.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical management of LNG/LPG vessels to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Coordinate with third party managers for technical services.
• Monitor maintenance systems and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare budgets and control variances; support tender processes for equipment and services.
• Oversee dry docking planning and performance with focus on safety and efficiency.
