Job summary

QNB Group in Doha seeks an experienced Associate for Third Party Risk Management to oversee vendor relationships, ensure regulatory compliance, and design risk governance frameworks. You will develop and monitor KPIs for risk performance and support business units in managing third party relationships.

The role requires extensive experience in international banking, strong understanding of regulatory risk, and the ability to implement risk management strategies across the group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or IT.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a highly rated international bank.
• Strong knowledge of operational risk and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Third Party (Vendor and Outsourcing) as part of Second Line Operational Risk to ensure effective setup and implementation of the framework, its maintenance and development.
• Assist the Group VP Third Party Risk Management in the setup, oversight and execution of the framework by business owners to ensure risks are understood and monitored.
• Develop KPIs for performance monitoring and quality measurement for both Operational Risk Department & Businesses and monitor achievement.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive inventory of all third parties with whom QNB Group has a relationship.
• Catalogue customer risks exposure related to third parties and perform risk-based segmentation of suppliers.
• Establish rules-based due diligence testing and a disciplined governance framework.
• Implement integrated technology and MIS workflow processes and tools for Third Party Risk Management.
• Maintain data protection and confidentiality and ensure compliance with AML & CTF, Sanctions Policy, Data Protection Policy, Fraud Control Policy.
