Job summary

QNB Group in Doha, Qatar, seeks an Assistant Manager, Merchant Operations to oversee daily merchant processing and ensure compliance with payment networks and internal controls. You will liaise with merchants, vendors and internal teams, monitor KPIs, and support international branches while maintaining data confidentiality and service levels.

The role requires a Bachelor degree and at least 4 years of merchant operations experience within an international bank.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Banking, Finance or related field.
• At least 4 years of relevant merchant operations experience.
• Experience in an international bank is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform merchant operations activities in accordance with established controls, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with client personnel, vendors and consultants during merchant onboarding and operations.
• Ensure settlement and processing compliance with Visa/Mastercard rules and bank policies.
• Maintain SLAs and monitor KPIs to improve turnaround times and efficiency.
• Support international branches and subsidiaries as needed.
