Job summary

Barjousarchitects in Doha, Qatar is seeking a highly experienced Senior Interior Design Coordinator to lead interior design projects from concept to execution, acting as the main client contact while ensuring coordination across teams.

The role requires 8–12 years of experience, GCC exposure, and MMUP/UPDA Grade A Architecture certification; the candidate will delegate tasks, manage schedules, and ensure quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years of interior design project experience, GCC preferred.
• MMUP/UPDA Grade A Architecture certification highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with strong written and verbal skills.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Interior Design Coordinator to lead and coordinate interior design projects from concept through execution. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for clients while ensuring seamless coordination and has the ability to delegate responsibilities effectively while maintaining project quality, timelines and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings, understand project requirements and provide regular progress updates.
• Serve as the primary contact for clients and suppliers.
• Delegate tasks effectively and monitor performance to ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Identify project risks and proactively provide practical solutions.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and design milestones.
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding material selection, samples, finishes, and procurement.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in Interior Design projects, preferably within the GCC.
• MMUP/UPDA Grade A Architecture certification is highly preferred and priority will be given to candidates holding Grade A certification.
• Excellent organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of interior fit-out execution and multidisciplinary coordination.
