Job summary

Avanceon is seeking an experienced I&C Construction Lead to oversee instrumentation, control, automation, containment and cabling installation activities on-site across multiple project sites in Qatar.

This field-focused role requires supervising site teams, coordinating with engineers and subcontractors, and ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance, while maintaining schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
• 12–14 years of field I&C installation and supervision experience.
• Proven experience leading site teams and managing subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation, automation, cabling, and on-site installation standards.
• Solid understanding of HSE, quality control, and field risk management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise I&C installation work on-site across multiple projects.
• Lead site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to meet schedules.
• Prepare daily progress reports and report risks to Project Managers.
• Monitor material usage and ensure timely resource availability.
• Conduct site surveys and provide field information to design teams.
• Enforce HSE compliance and conduct safety audits.
• Review and verify site reports and handover packages.
• Evaluate subcontractor performance and accountability.
