Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy in Qatar is seeking a Construction Supervisor (Electrical & Instrument) to oversee electrical and instrument construction activities on CAT III–VI projects. You will enforce safety, quality and schedule, coordinating with Contractors, Sub-contractors, and QatarEnergy LNG.

The role requires a Bachelor in Electrical/Instrument Engineering (or equivalent), 10+ years in construction planning, field execution and MCC for EPC Oil & Gas projects, with Brownfield/Greenfield

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electrical / Instrument Engineering or equivalent.
• Thorough knowledge of IEC, NEC, NFPA, BS, NEMA, NETA, IEEE Codes/Standards.
• 10+ years experience in construction planning, field execution, and mechanical completion.
• Experience in Brownfield and Greenfield EPC oil & gas projects.
• Experience with onshore/offshore construction and testing of electrical/instrument systems.
• Fluent in English; good IT skills (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee electrical and instrument construction activities safely.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, IFC drawings, and QA/QC expectations.
• Interface with Project Engineering, QA/QC, and Contractors/Sub-contractors.
• Coordinate construction activities with Third Parties and QatarEnergy LNG.
• Prepare for and participate in weekly construction meetings.
• Review and approve construction method statements and ensure field implementation.
