Job summary

Swan Global seeks an experienced Maintenance Lead in Doha to oversee overhaul and maintenance activities. You will plan daily work, organize manpower and resources, and ensure safety and procedure compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and solid knowledge of IT systems and HSE requirements, with a background in rolling stock maintenance or a related field.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of experience in lead/overhaul and maintenance roles.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong understanding of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Good knowledge of IT systems and software; ability to maintain records.
• Experience with rolling stock maintenance or similar environment.
• Engineering ONC or equivalent qualification for production roles.
• Basic understanding of continuous improvement principles.
• Knowledge of contract/commercial matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise overhaul and maintenance activities.
• Plan and organize daily activities, manpower and resources effectively.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and in accordance with required procedures.
• Monitor team performance, productivity and work progress.
• Maintain accurate records and reports using relevant IT systems.
• Communicate effectively with management, supervisors and team members.
• Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) requirements.
