Job summary

Mashreq in Qatar seeks an experienced Relationship Manager to oversee a corporate banking portfolio and expand the book by building new client relationships and cross-selling MB products.

The role requires strong credit discipline, financial modelling, and the ability to coordinate with multiple internal groups to deliver tailored structured solutions while maintaining risk appetite and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Relationship management and client servicing for corporate banking portfolios.
• Strong credit skills with ability to analyse financial statements and spreads.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for internal and client interactions.
• Experience in credit reviews, documentation, and policy alignment.
• Proficiency in financial models, risk rating modules and profitability analyses.
• Ability to coordinate across groups to deliver structured financial solutions.
• Knowledge of market, regulatory, and industry developments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review allocated corporate portfolio; recommend credit facilities.
• Identify new prospects and pursue growth, including syndications and structured financing.
• Cross-sell MB products across divisions through existing client relationships.
• Maintain regular client contact with reports, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Credit, Documentation, Operations and other groups for timely delivery of solutions.
• Prepare term sheets, pre-screen memos, and profitability analyses.
• Develop relationships with decision makers to originate business in line with strategy.
