Job summary

QNB Group in Doha seeks a Senior Manager - Domestic Regulatory Reporting to lead daily, weekly and monthly financial and regulatory reporting at the local and group levels, ensuring accuracy and timely disclosure of material matters.

You will liaise with Qatar Central Bank officials, develop reporting processes that improve efficiency, provide analytical insights, and drive adherence to SLAs while mentoring the local regulatory reporting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or IT (related field)
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a highly rated international bank/financial or regulatory reporting
• Knowledge of financial & regulatory reporting methods including balance sheet, P/L and off balance sheet items
• Understanding of core banking systems, data warehouse and their impact on output and accuracy of regulatory reports

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, accurate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual financial & regulatory reports at local and group level with analytical review
• Create ad hoc regulatory reports requested by regulators within deadlines
• Maintain understanding of banking processes, products and transactions flows
• Perform data cleansing to ensure data accuracy and relevance
• Develop system enhancements to reduce report turnaround times and errors
