Job summary

BAE Systems in Qatar seeks an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to manage maintenance, inspection and supervision in the AGE bay, ensuring airworthiness and regulatory compliance. The post holder will delegate tasks, authorise works, and oversee fault resolution while leading a skilled team.

You'll maintain records, support audits and drive continuous improvement, with a focus on safety, training and effective communication within the Part 145 environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years working at Supervisor level.
• Engineering Apprenticeship in Aeronautical Engineering or military equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance or equivalent.
• UK Driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed maintenance, inspection and supervision on AGE bay components.
• Ensure work complies with SOW/Work package and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain staff task authorisation for AGE activities per AMC.
• Provide guidance and leadership to the AGE team.
• Log books and report progress against delivery targets.
• Support audits and implement identified improvements.
