Job summary

BAE Systems is seeking a Forward Maintenance Manager in Qatar to lead Part 145 activities, ensure airworthiness compliance and manage the maintenance programme.

The role involves coordinating across teams, maintaining regulatory alignment, and guiding senior management on ongoing safety and performance improvements. Expect strong leadership requirements and deep aviation maintenance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship, including City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 (or equivalent).
• Ideally qualified in Aeronautical Engineering.
• Alternatively, possession of a recognised Engineering Degree

Responsibilities

• Lead Part 145 compliance with the Exposition and company procedures; drive change while ensuring compliance.
• Manage maintenance governance and assurance; address audits and implement improvements as needed.
• Oversee statutory/regulatory and contractual requirements; ensure changes are communicated and implemented.
