Job summary

BAE Systems in Qatar seeks a Forward Maintenance Manager to oversee Part 145 activities, maintain airworthiness records, and drive governance in compliance with the Maintenance Organisation Exposition. You will lead multiple teams, manage scheduling, and ensure regulatory requirements are adhered to across the programme.

The role requires 5+ years in aviation safety standards, supervisory experience in aircraft maintenance, and recent experience on the relevant type.

Qualifications

• Completion of Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Ideally Aeronautical Engineering qualification.
• 2 years supervisory experience in aircraft maintenance.
• 5 years practical aviation safety standards experience.
• 6 months experience on type (recent).

Responsibilities

• Lead Part 145 maintenance compliance and governance.
• Ensure airworthiness records are maintained in systems.
• Manage performance indicators and improvement programmes.
• Provide leadership to Team Leaders and ensure task authorisations are current.
• Notify Safety and Compliance on Exposition changes.
