Job summary

voco Doha Central, a pre-opening hotel of InterContinental Hotels Group, seeks a Reservations Agent who delivers exceptional service and creates memorable first impressions that inspire guests to choose voco.

You will handle room reservations via phone, email, and online channels, provide information on rates and facilities, and upsell hotel services to maximize revenue. Fluency in English is required and additional languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Reservations Agent or Front Office/Guest Services role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handling room reservations via phone, email, and online booking channels with accuracy and efficiency.
• Providing guests with information about room types, rates, hotel facilities, and local attractions.
• Processing new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
• Maximizing room revenue through upselling and promoting hotel services and packages.
• Ensuring all reservation details are entered accurately into the property management system.
• Maintaining effective communication with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, and other hotel departments.
• Monitoring room availability and assisting with inventory management.
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and reservation-related concerns.
• Supporting the successful opening and ongoing operations of the hotel.

Every day is different,but you’ll mostly be:

• Handling room reservations via phone, email, and online booking channels with accuracy and efficiency
• Providing guests with information about room types, rates, hotel facilities, and local attractions
• Processing new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests
• Maximizing room revenue through upselling and promoting hotel services and packages
• Ensuring all reservation details are entered accurately into the property management system
• Maintaining effective communication with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, and other hotel departments
• Monitoring room availability and assisting with inventory management
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and reservation-related concerns
• Supporting the successful opening and ongoing operations of the hotel

What we need from you

• Previous experience as a Reservations Agent, Front Office Agent, or Guest Services Agent within a hotel environment, preferably with knowledge of hotel reservation or PMS systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Good understanding of hotel operations and revenue principles
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, guest-focused attitude
• Fluency in English; additional languages will be an advantage
