Job summary

voco Doha Central, a pre-opening hotel in Doha, seeks a Reservations Agent who excels in delivering exceptional service and building guest confidence. You will manage reservations, provide hotel information, and support a seamless guest experience in a dynamic, guest-focused environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, upselling opportunities, and collaboration with Front Office and Revenue teams to ensure optimal occupancy and guest satisfaction as the hotel prepares for opening and ongoing

• Maximize room revenue through upselling and promoting hotel services and packages.
• Ensure reservation details are entered accurately into the property management system (PMS).
• Maintain effective communication with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, and other departments.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different,but you’ll mostly be:

• Handling room reservations via phone, email, and online booking channels with accuracy and efficiency
• Providing guests with information about room types, rates, hotel facilities, and local attractions
• Processing new reservations, modifications, cancellations, and special requests
• Maximizing room revenue through upselling and promoting hotel services and packages
• Ensuring all reservation details are entered accurately into the property management system
• Maintaining effective communication with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, and other hotel departments
• Monitoring room availability and assisting with inventory management
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and reservation-related concerns
• Supporting the successful opening and ongoing operations of the hotel

What we need from you

• Previous experience as a Reservations Agent, Front Office Agent, or Guest Services Agent within a hotel environment, preferably with knowledge of hotel reservation or PMS systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Good understanding of hotel operations and revenue principles
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive, guest-focused attitude
• Fluency in English; additional languages will be an advantage
