Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Customer (Tendering Engineer) for Substation Automation to drive the complete bid process, from client RFQ analysis to proposal submission. The role focuses on interpreting customer requirements, defining optimized technical solutions, and ensuring alignment with standards and commercial objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronic engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of tendering, commercial, engineering or relevant functions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of grid automation, protection and DCS/SCS.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 10-15% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete bid process from RFQ analysis to proposal submission.
• Define optimized technical solutions aligned with standards and commercial objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners for cost models and risk assessment.
• Ensure compliance with tender requirements and commercial/execution strategies.
• Support order booking and drive margins while assisting Sales in meetings/negotiations.
