Job summary

Mindrift is seeking skilled Bot Developers to join the Tendem project and build conversational bots and messaging-platform integrations for real-world applications. This part-time remote freelance role focuses on WhatsApp Business API, Telegram Bot API, Discord, Slack, and similar platforms.

As a Bot Developer, you will design, implement, and refine chat flows, connect bots to back-end services and third-party APIs, and ensure reliable, scalable bot experiences.

Qualifications

At least 3 years in backend, integration, automation, or bot development.
Hands-on bot development experience with messaging platforms.
Portfolio of bots is required.
English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above.

Responsibilities

Build bots for messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack.
Design and implement conversational flows and state handling.
Integrate bots with LLMs for natural language responses.
Connect bots to backend services and third-party APIs.
Handle webhooks and platform-specific message formats.
Review, debug, and optimize bot implementations for reliability.
Implement logging and monitoring for production bots.
