Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a part-time freelance Bot Developer to design, build and refine messaging bots for multiple platforms, including WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord and Slack. You’ll implement conversational flows, integrate AI models, and connect bots to back-end services and CRMs.

This role emphasizes reliability, production readiness and independent delivery. Ideal candidates have hands-on bot development experience, platform API knowledge, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of bot development, backend integration or automation experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field is a plus.
• Strong foundation in bot development, messaging platform integrations, and reliable conversational workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build bots for messaging platforms (WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack).
• Design and implement conversational flows and fallback handling.
• Integrate bots with LLMs for natural language responses.
• Connect bots to backend services, databases, and third-party APIs.
• Handle webhooks and platform-specific message formats.
• Ensure robust logging, monitoring and error handling.
