Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a Python Data Scraping Engineer for the Tendem project. This freelance, part-time remote role focuses on building end-to-end web data extraction workflows, validating outputs, and delivering structured datasets using tools like Apify and Open Router.

You will work with Tendem Agents to tackle dynamic sites, APIs, and proxy-based data collection, ensuring high accuracy and scalable performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in data engineering, web scraping, automation, or software development.
• Strong Python web scraping experience including dynamic content and APIs via proxies.
• Experience extracting data from complex structures and performing data cleaning/validation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data extraction workflows across complex websites with complete coverage and structured outputs.
• Utilize internal tools (Apify, Open Router) and custom workflows to accelerate data collection and validation.
• Ensure reliable extraction from JS-rendered content and adapt to site changes.
• Enforce data quality through validation checks and cross-source consistency.
