Job summary

Mindrift is seeking a Bot Developer (AI Pilot) for the Tendem project. You will design, build, and refine messaging bots across WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, and similar platforms, delivering customer-service, booking, content delivery, and notifications with robust conversational logic.

Work is part-time remote with a strong emphasis on API/webhook integrations, platform-specific limitations, and production-quality deployments.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on bot development on major messaging platforms.
• Portfolio or examples of bots you've built (required).
• English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above (required).

Responsibilities

• Build bots for WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, and similar platforms.
• Design conversational flows and fallback handling.
• Integrate bots with LLMs for natural language responses.
• Connect bots to backend services, databases, CRMs, and third-party APIs.
• Handle webhooks, rate limits, and platform-specific message formats.
• Evaluate and refactor AI-generated bot code for reliability and graceful error handling.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and recovery to keep bots healthy in production.
