Confidential Company in Qatar seeks a highly capable Industrial Waste Manager to oversee all aspects of waste handling in a live Petrochemical complex. You will ensure compliance with environment policies, supervise a housekeeping crew, and coordinate with operations, safety and regulatory bodies.

Strong English, safety orientation, and a valid local driving license are essential. The role requires 5–7 years in chemical and waste handling with 3–4 years in supervision, and a technical secondary

Qualifications

• Completion of technical secondary education (12 years) or equivalent with trade competence.
• 5 to 7 years chemical and waste handling experience in live petrochemical industrial.
• 3 to 4 years supervisory experience.
• Excellent knowledge of written, reading and spoken English.
• Qatari driving license.
• Safety orientation and training.

Responsabilités

• Understand COMPANY Industrial Waste handling requirement.
• Manage industrial waste disposal yard; segregation of wastes per policy.
• Liaises with waste transporting CONTRACTORs; comply with regulations.
• Ensures provision of materials and equipment tools; inventory management.
• Liaise with operations and Safety/Environment to obtain waste details; inform supervisor of planned duration.
• Provides necessary safety instructions on the job to waste handlers.
• Compiles a report on work as directed by the COMPANY Supervisor.
• Participate in development and implementation of COMPANY environment objectives (ISO 14001).
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Should be very capable person well versed in all aspects of Industrial waste management having adequate experience in identifying inspecting handling and disposing of various hazardous wastes and chemical generated in a Gas Oil Petrochemical Chemical plants Hands-on experience of safe neutralizing methods of equipment installed in large Oil Gas operating plant Purpose of Scope Provides interface between company representative and his own Industrial waste handling and housekeeping crew Responsible for Housekeeping Services fully in accordance with contract requirement May have to work in shift as and when required

Duties Performed

• Understanding of COMPANY Industrial Waste handing requirement
• Management of Industrial waste disposal yard Segregation of Industrial disposable and non-disposable wastes as per COMPANY and RLIC Environment policy and procedures
• Liaises with waste transporting CONTRACTORs Follow all the statutory and Government regulations with regard to Waste disposal
• Ensures provision of materials and equipment tools required undertaking assigned work Inventory management for stock of material on the basis of COMPANY s envisaged work
• Liaise with relevant personnel in the operations and Safety and Environment Departments to obtain details of waste and methods of disposal Informs the COMPANY Supervisor of the planned duration of such work Undertakes this work according to planned work schedules and priorities with recommended PPE
• Provides necessary safety instructions on the job explanations to waste handlers about the hazards involved
• Compiles a report on work as directed by the COMPANY Supervisor
• Performs related duties as assigned
• Participate in the development and implementation of COMPANY s Environment management objectives for continuous improvement ISO 14001 services
• Completion of technical secondary education (12 Years) or equivalent. Plus Technical Trade competence in Engineering or Industrial Waste management.
• 5 to 7 Years Chemical and Waste handling experience in Live Petrochemical Industrial, including 3 to 4 Years supervisory experience.
