Job summary
QatarEnergy Qatarization is seeking a senior professional to plan, coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the Hazardous Waste Treatment Centre (HWTC). You will ensure reliable, safe, and compliant treatment and disposal of hazardous waste in line with environmental regulations.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in large chemical/oil & gas sectors, with 5+ years in hazardous waste management, strong regulatory knowledge, ability to analyze data and prepare technical reports, and fluent
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in large Chemical / Petrochemical / Oil & Gas industries with 5 years in Hazardous Waste Treatment/Management.
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and procedures related to Hazardous Waste classification, characterization, and treatment.
- Strong technical background to analyze data and prepare technical reports.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Familiar with international environmental rules and regulations (US EPA SW-846, 40CFR261/262/263/268).
- Experience reading engineering drawings, PFDs and P&IDs.
- Computer literacy is essential.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and oversee daily operational activities of the HWTC to ensure safe, reliable and optimized operation.
- Ensure received hazardous waste is treated and disposed of in line with prevailing environmental regulations and procedures.
