Job summary

NES Fircroft in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a Project Reporting Lead to coordinate executive-level reporting, governance, dashboards and management communications across a major LNG program. The role requires strong PowerPoint and data analytics skills and experience with KPI development and governance tools.

The successful candidate will work on a 100% onshore basis in Doha, with a 6-day work week and 30 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in business, project controls, reporting, governance, or related functions.
• Minimum 4 years in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• At least 1 year in supervisory or acting lead roles and contractor oversight.
• Experience with NOCs/IOCs is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, consolidate, and integrate project data from multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Develop executive reports, dashboards and management information packs.
• Prepare concise progress reports covering performance, forecasts, risks, and mitigations.
• Maintain KPI trackers and governance reporting tools.
• Prepare presentations for executive leadership and shareholders.
• Support governance meetings and stakeholder engagements.
• Ensure data quality and confidentiality across projects.

Hiring: Project Reporting Lead

Location: Doha, Qatar (100% Onshore)

Contract Type: Long-Term Contract

Work Schedule: 6 Days per Week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Reporting Lead to support a major LNG development program in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, integrating, and delivering executive-level reporting, governance presentations, project analytics, and management communications across a portfolio of strategic projects. This role will provide senior leadership and shareholders with clear visibility of project performance, forecasts, risks, opportunities, and overall delivery status.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key member of the Integration Team, supporting governance and reporting activities across multiple projects.
• Coordinate, consolidate, and integrate project data from various disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Develop executive-level reports, dashboards, presentations, and management information packs.
• Prepare concise progress reports covering project performance, forecasts, trends, issues, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Ensure consistency, alignment, and synergy across all projects and functions.
• Develop and maintain KPIs, performance metrics, project analytics, and governance reporting tools.
• Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership, project teams, management committees, and shareholders.
• Coordinate internal and external interfaces to support issue resolution and stakeholder alignment.
• Respond to ad-hoc reporting and project analysis requests from management and project leadership.
• Support project governance meetings, management reviews, executive workshops, and stakeholder engagements.
• Work closely with QatarEnergy LNG project teams to maintain reporting accuracy, consistency, and data quality.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of project, commercial, and shareholder information.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in business, project controls, reporting, governance, commercial, or related functions.
• Minimum 4 years of experience within the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Minimum 1 year experience in:
  • Supervisory role
  • Acting Lead role
  • Contractor/Subcontractor oversight
  • Vendor management
• Experience working with National Oil Companies (NOCs) and/or International Oil Companies (IOCs) is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting executive management reporting, governance reviews, and shareholder communications is advantageous.
