Job summary

Facility Management is seeking a Mechanical Draftsman and Electrical Draftsman to create detailed shop, coordination, and as-built drawings for MEP services. You will handle HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Lighting, Power layouts, and related schematics per project specs in Doha.

You will review designs, coordinate with engineers and site teams, update drawings for site changes, and ensure compliance with standards and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle and handover.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Drafting or related field.
• 3–5 years GCC/MEP drafting experience preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and producing accurate shop and as-built drawings.
• Familiar with MEP standards, construction drawings, and coordination requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for MEP services (Mechanical and Electrical).
• Develop accurate drawings for HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, Fire Fighting, Lighting, Power Layouts, Containment, Substations, DB schedules, and Schematic Diagrams.
• Review engineering drawings, design documents, and technical specifications before drafting.
• Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers, Site Engineers, and other MEP disciplines to resolve drawing conflicts.
• Update drawings based on site changes, consultant comments, and project revisions.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, local regulations, and client requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing revision records.
• Provide drafting support during project execution and final handover documentation.
