Job summary

Steadfast in Doha requires a Mechanical/Drafting professional to prepare detailed MEP shop drawings using AutoCAD and coordinate with electrical, architectural and structural teams. You will update drawings as site conditions change and support handover with As-Built documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma/ITI in Mechanical/Drafting, have 2–3 years Gulf experience, and are available for ASAP mobilization. Revit MEP BIM is advantageous but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years Gulf experience in Mechanical Drafting mandatory.

Job description

Prepare plumbing drainage and firefighting drawings depending on project scope. Prepare sections, details, schematics and equipment layouts. Coordinate mechanical drawings with electrical, architectural, structural and other services. Revise drawings according to engineer consultant comments. Update drawings according to actual site conditions. Prepare As-Built drawings and support handover documentation. Maintain drawing revisions and coordinate with site engineers for accurate information.

Diploma/ITI or relevant qualification in Mechanical/Drafting. Minimum 2–3 years Gulf experience in Mechanical Drafting – mandatory as per the received requirement.

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Relevant experience preparing mechanical/MEP shop drawings.
• Knowledge of HVAC/mechanical services drawings.
• Plumbing, drainage and firefighting drafting experience is advantageous.
• Ability to understand MEP drawings and coordinate different services.
• Revit MEP/BIM experience is an advantage but is not specified as mandatory by the client.

Must be available for ASAP mobilization.
