Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Doha is seeking an experienced MEP Supervisor to oversee Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing installation, maintenance and commissioning on complex projects. You will lead a team, coordinate with trades, and ensure compliance with project schedules and safety standards.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, HAP and Navisworks is essential, as is experience producing design calculations and technical reports for mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• 7 to 12 years of experience in MEP supervision.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting systems.
• Experience producing design documents and drawings, including optioning reports and specs of mechanical systems.
• Experience producing hydraulic calculations for mechanical systems.
• Familiar with national and international codes for HVAC/Plumbing/Fire Fighting industries.
• Ability to review submittals, shop drawings, contractor bids and specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, Elite; Navisworks knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and create plans for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Coordinate with other trades through periodic meetings.
• Prepare design concepts and space requirements; prepare drawings and calculations.
• Prepare technical reports and contractual documents with minimal guidance.
• Apply new ideas to improve solutions and processes.
• Receive on-the-job technical training with minimal supervision.
• Review technical material submittals, shop drawings, bids and specs.
• Mentor staff with potential line management responsibilities.
• Present project work at meetings or conferences.
