Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy, Qatar, is seeking a Material Planning Specialist to lead maintenance material management and planning. The role interfaces with onshore, site/offshore teams and the warehouse to ensure material availability and efficient processes.

Strong SAP/PALM experience and a background in oil & gas are essential for success. The candidate will drive continuous improvement, maintain HSE standards, and coordinate with maintenance stakeholders to optimize material flow and storage

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline required.
Extensive experience in material management, warehouse operations, and logistics.
Minimum 10 years in Oil & Gas, preferably in warehouse/logistics or materials management.

Responsibilities

Create processes and procedures to support maintenance material management and drive improvements.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency of maintenance material management activities.
Provide guidance to onshore/site/offshore personnel on material management and movement.
Coordinate with warehouse to ensure continuous flow of materials and equipment.
Interface with campaign/shutdown coordinators for tracking and tagging materials.
Support the repair process and liaise with vendors and warehouses as needed.
Participate in maintenance material management and warehouse audits.
