Job summary

SPIE Global Services Energy in Qatar seeks a Material Planning Specialist to drive maintenance material management, planning and continuous improvement. You will work with SAP and PALM, coordinate with onshore and offshore teams, and ensure material availability for repair and refurbishment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 10+ years in Oil & Gas, with strong English, safety focus and Primavera proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Extensive experience in Material Management, Warehouse Operations, Logistics and related processes.
Minimum 10 years in Oil & Gas, preferably in Warehouse/Logistics/Materials environment.
Proven experience with SAP and PALM maintenance systems.
Strong Microsoft Office skills and Primavera scheduling knowledge.
Excellent English communication and teamwork in multidisciplinary settings.

Responsibilities

Create processes and procedures to support maintenance material management and drive continuous improvement.
Establish a safe, incident-free environment with a strong safety culture.
Ensure compliance with HSE standards and environmental practices.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in maintenance material management activities.
Provide guidance to onshore and site personnel on material management and movement.
