MAINTENANCE PLANNING ENGINEER ELECTRICAL M/F

Contract type: Fixed-term-contract

Contractual hours: Full time

Location: Doha, Qatar

Responsibilities

• Prime responsibility for planning daily maintenance activities to ensure right‑first‑time job performance, maximizing equipment reliability and improving tool time and work quality.
• Plan and coordinate labour and non‑labour resources, including materials and services, to remove uncertainty and execute planning in a systematic, efficient, and economical way.
• Develop independent cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work to meet budgets and schedules.
• Use SAP Maintenance module (preferably SAP S4‑HANA) for order planning, purchase requisition, service entry sheets, call‑off orders, service orders, and maintenance‑related master data creation, updation and deletion.
• Routine maintenance job planning; spares and materials management; work progress reporting; annual look‑ahead plan and cost optimisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Engineering degree in Electrical (12+4 years of education).
• 10+ years relevant experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Fertiliser industry.
• Hands‑on experience with the Work Order part of the EAM (Enterprise Asset Maintenance) module of SAP.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Good interpersonal, organisational skills and computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office.
