Job summary

Ennismore's Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha invites a Manager I People Development to lead training initiatives within the People & Culture team. The role focuses on creating and updating training manuals, coordinating attendance, and certifying employee trainings in a luxury hospitality setting.

You will deliver training sessions, audit briefing quality, and support onboarding for new hires and interns while ensuring adherence to corporate policies and CSR activities. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Experience in L&D and training coordination in a hotel/hospitality setting
• Certified Trainer / Train-the-Trainer qualification
• Strong English (spoken and written) and corporate communication skills
• Experience using Learning Management System (LMS) for tracking training attendance and records

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and update training manuals, tools, and records
• Manage training attendance, nominations, and LMS records
• Prepare training certificates and recognition certificates
• Facilitate training sessions and audits of training briefings
• Support onboarding and orientation for new hires and interns

Job Description

• Compilation and updating of the requisite training manuals and tools per field


• Updating the Premium Master Training Attendance List and records for all trainings i.e. Fire, First Aid, Ennismore Learning.


• Updating of personal training history files of all employees


• Is familiar with Training Guidelines and People & Culture Policy issued by the Regional Head Office and ensures that they are applied accordingly.


• Updating Intern files and sending offer letters to Interns, tracking on boarding and final issuing of Certificates.


• Managing Room Bookings for trainings planned and preparing of BEO's when required.


• Responsible for preparation of all Training and recognition certificates.


• Ensuring that booked training rooms are set up as per requirements of the respective trainings.


• Create Printed and instructional materials to be used in training.


• Following up on nomination lists to ensure departments nominate Colleagues.


• Managing Training Attendance and nominations using Learning management system.


• Maintain soft copy and hard copy files of all training related documents and ensure that these files are up to date


• Facilitate training sessions


• Prepare poster and arrangements for CSR activities in the hotel and maintain the records of the Events including required Purchase Orders.


• Managing Tracking of cross training/ cross exposure and preparing certificates.


• Implement and evaluate training practices to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.


• Preparing Training Certificates for All Rixos Trainings.


• Conduct 3 audits per week for the departments to check the quality of the briefings being conducted and give feedback.


• Conduct IFH trainings for Restaurant Reservations, Spa, Salesand Operators when reports are released.


• Conduct Show around when New Hire Orientation is being conducted for Hotel within the week.

Qualifications

Training certification: A Certified Trainer / Train-the-Trainer qualification, particularly by international hotel brands.

Additional Information

• 2–5 years of experience L&D experience


• Professional appearance: Well-groomed, appropriately dressed, punctual, and dependable.


• Hotel experience: Experience in hotel operations strongly preferred, especially 5-star hotels.


• English: Strong spoken and written English.


• Important skills: Training Needs Analysis (TNA), presentation/facilitation, training evaluation, communication, Excel/PowerPoint/Word, and working with multicultural teams.
