Job summary

RAFFLES Doha is seeking a proactive Public Relations Officer to manage all government-related transactions and ensure compliance with local regulations. You will act as the hotel’s official liaison with government authorities, handling visas, residency permits, labor and licensing matters for colleagues and the business.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, Public Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of PRO experience, preferably in hospitality in Qatar.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar labor, immigration and municipality regulations.
• Experience using government portals and electronic systems.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Qatari driving license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with government authorities for immigration, labor, municipality and licensing matters.
• Process visas, residency permits, work permits, medical exams and Qatar ID apps/renewals.
• Coordinate visa cancellations, transfers and exit permits where applicable.
• Ensure timely renewal of licenses, permits and statutory documents.
• Maintain accurate records of government-related documentation and expiry dates.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise management accordingly.
• Build and maintain relationships with government departments and external agencies.
• Support colleagues with government-related processes and documentation guidance.
• Ensure compliance with local labor, immigration and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
