Job summary

Gray Mackenzie Engineering Services in Qatar seeks a highly experienced Lead Engineer to head the Valve Testing & Calibration division, driving operational excellence and business growth in the Oil & Gas sector.

The role requires leading valve testing and overhauling, ensuring compliance with API, ASME, ISO, and client specs, while building a high-performance workshop team.

Middle East experience preferred; Qatar experience is advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 15 years Oil & Gas experience.
• Strong background in valve testing & workshop operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee testing and overhauling of all process valves.
• Manage valve overhauling and workshop operations.
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO and client specifications.
• Act as technical focal point for clients and operators.
• Review RFQs and support proposal preparation.
• Drive business growth in shutdowns, turnarounds, and long-term service contracts.
• Build and mentor a high-performance technical team.
